director, The Diviners (1994)
It was Marcus's collaboration with Jeff Ferguson that first saw him directing a full-length play. Jim Leonard Jr.'s The Diviners played along with the one-acts Marching As To War and The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds as part of a summer series Jeff and Marcus put together. It would be the first and only season for Townsend SummerStage as both young men were soon quite busy having nervous breakdowns.
